March 2026 Week 1 Update — CAT Practice Exam Launch & Free NCLEX Study Notes NClip (v1.2.0)
v1.2.0 — March 2026 Week 1 Update
The highlights of this update are the official launch of the CAT Practice Exam and the release of NClip. The adaptive algorithm-based practice exam and free nursing knowledge base we’ve been teasing are finally here. We’ve also made a number of UI/UX improvements and bug fixes.
CAT Practice Exam — Now Live
Exam Set 1 & 2 Available
The CAT Practice Exam, powered by an adaptive algorithm designed to mirror the real NCLEX-RN, is officially launched. Two sets are available now: Exam Set 1 and Exam Set 2.
Pricing
- Premium Plus subscribers: Included at no extra cost
- Free and Premium subscribers: Available for purchase at $9 per set (VAT not included)
- Once purchased, each set can be retaken unlimited times.
Two Modes
- CAT Mode: Just like the real NCLEX, the exam ends automatically between 85 and 150 questions based on your demonstrated ability level.
- Full Mode: Work through all 150 questions from start to finish.
Regular Additions Planned
New CAT exam sets will be added on a regular or as-needed basis — at least 2 new sets per month going forward.
Screen Size Requirement
To provide a test-taking experience close to the real exam, the CAT Practice Exam requires a tablet in landscape orientation or wider. A screen size notice will be shown on smaller or portrait-mode screens.
NClip — Free NCLEX Study Notes
NClip is a free knowledge base built from 21 open-source nursing textbooks, reorganized around clinical concepts.
Key Features
- 1,000+ clinical concept notes: Instead of reading textbooks cover to cover, quickly find what you need through notes organized by key concept.
- Linked to the NCLEX blueprint: Every note is mapped to the NCLEX blueprint and Clinical Judgment Measurement Model (CJMM) for targeted exam prep.
- Cross-linked structure: Drug cards, lab reference values, nursing procedures, and related content are cross-linked within each note.
- Completely free: No account required — open to everyone.
How to Use
Visit nclick.kr/nclip to get started. Use the explorer in the left sidebar or the search function to find any concept you’re looking for.
NClip is currently available in English only. Multilingual support will be added in a future update.
UI/UX Improvements
Multilingual Support Improvements
When the app language was set to something other than Korean, some text in the wrong-answer review, AI tutor page, and study analytics screen was still appearing in Korean. This has been largely resolved. The entire UI now displays consistently in your selected language.
Tab State Reset Between Questions
When answering questions back to back, the active tab from a previous question was sometimes carrying over to the next one. This has been fixed — the first tab is now automatically selected whenever a new question loads.
Wrong-Answer Review Desktop UI Improvement
The wrong-answer review detail screen was previously constrained to a narrow mobile-width layout even on larger screens. It now expands to fill the available width on tablets and desktops.
Bug Fixes, Stability, and SEO Improvements
- General code improvements for overall service stability.
Coming Next
- More CAT Sets — Exam Set 3 and beyond are in preparation.
- More Practice Questions — We’re continuously adding questions across all subjects.
The update is available on the App Store (iOS/Android) and web (nclick.kr).
NClick will keep working to provide NCLEX-RN test takers with higher quality questions and a better study experience.
